Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Trit app for iPhone ("Trit") and the website tritgit.app. "We" means the publisher of Trit. By using Trit you agree to them. If you get Trit from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and governs your license where the two differ.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Trit on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store terms allow. You may not sell, rent or redistribute it or remove its notices.
Price
Any price or paid feature is shown on the App Store before you buy. Apple processes purchases and refunds under its terms.
Your repositories and credentials
- You are responsible for the repositories you use, your right to access them, and what you commit, push, comment or merge.
- Trit's repositories are excluded from backups. Keep important work pushed or backed up elsewhere.
- You are responsible for your tokens, SSH keys and their permissions, and for protecting your iPhone with a passcode.
- Operations such as reset, discard, pull with rebase and force push with lease can change history or discard work. You decide when to run them.
Third-party services
Git servers and hosting services you connect, such as GitHub and GitLab, are governed by their own terms. We do not operate or endorse them and are not affiliated with GitHub, Inc. or GitLab Inc.
Acceptable use
Use Trit lawfully and within the terms of the services you connect. Do not access repositories or accounts you are not authorized to use.
Open-source components
Trit includes open-source software, such as libgit2 and highlight.js grammars, under its own licenses, listed in Trit's Settings.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, Trit is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that Trit is error-free or works with every Git server or hosting service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, code, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use Trit, including loss caused by Git operations you run. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and termination
We may update Trit and these terms; changes to the terms appear on this page with a new effective date. Your license ends if you breach these terms. You can stop using Trit at any time by deleting it.
Trademarks
Trit and the Trit logo are trademarks of their owner. GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc. GitLab is a trademark of GitLab Inc.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise. The Taiwan Taipei District Court is the court of first instance for any dispute arising from these terms.
